Arsenal, or as we would like to say – the best of the rest. The Gunners have not won the Premier League since 2004 – the season of the famous Invincibles.
They will probably add another year to their unpopular streak, unless they manage to excel themselves in the upcoming 2019-20 campaign.
Ins and outs
The Gunners added some real quality to their squad this season, signing Nicolas Pepe in a club-record £72 million transfer deal.
They also strengthened their defense with Kieran Tierney and David Luiz, who joined from their cross-town rivals Chelsea FC. Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid also joined on a one-year loan deal.
On the other hand, Aaron Ramsey left the club for Juventus, legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech retired, while former captain Koscielny signed for French side Bordeaux.
Most important players
It is going to be all eyes on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, club’s best forwards from the 2018-19 season.
Nicolas Pepe should also play a vital role for the Gunners, while Dani Ceballos is expected to replace Aaron Ramsey in the playmaking position.
Arsenal missed out on a top-four finish in the past three Premier League campaigns, after previously being there for full 20 years in a row. However, they are our Number 1 favorites for the Champions League spot next season.
