Sporting director Antero Henrique has slammed Adrien Rabiot’s decision to visit a nightclub just hours after Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League exit on Wednesday.

Instead of consoling his teammates following their shock Champions League defeat to Manchester United, Rabiot was caught on camera enjoying himself at a nightclub in France.

The French midfielder has been ban from playing for the first-team due to his refusal to sign a new contract at the Parc Des Princes as his original deal will expire in June.

Without Rabiot in the line-up, Thomas Tuchel’s side blew a 2-0 first-leg aggregate lead over United by losing the return fixture 3-1 on home soil to suffer their third consecutive last-16 exit.

Kylian Mbappe had set-up Juan Bernat in the first-half to cancel out Romelu Lukaku’s early goal before the Belgian striker struck again after the Ligue 1 champions failed to make the most of their opportunities.

Marcus Rashford then sealed PSG’s fate by coolly slotting home a 94th-minute penalty after Diogo Dalot’s shot struck Presnel Kimpembe’s arm in the area to allow United to progress to the quarter-finals on away goals.

But, for Henrique, Rabiot’s actions on Wednesday night were simply unacceptable even if he has been completely frozen out of the first-team.

“I find the attitude and lack of professionalism of a player like Adrien Rabiot towards the club, his team-mates and the supporters unacceptable,” Henrique told RMC Sport.

“I remind you that, until June 30, 2019, he is part of our playing squad.”

Rabiot is widely expected to join La Liga leaders Barcelona this summer amid reports he’s reached a verbal agreement to arrive at Camp Nou.

Arsenal, Tottenham, Juventus and Bayern Munich have also been linked with moves for the France international.

PSG will next take on Dijon FCO in a Ligue 1 match on Tuesday, where they will hope to grab victory and maintain their 17-point lead at the top of the standings from second-place Lille OSC.
