French champions Paris Saint-Germain coast to a routine 4-0 win over Toulouse, but lose two stars in the process.
BBC Sport have reported on PSG’s up-and-down start to the season continuing when just 14 minutes into their tie with Toulouse, Edison Cavani was forced to come off the field due to an injury.
His replacement Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting however, went on to start the scoring. Before an own-goal from Toulouse’s Mathieu Goncalves made it 2-0 to the champions.
After an Angel di Maria missed penalty, Choupo-Moting got his second goal of the game to make it three for PSG.
Defender Marquinhos rounded off the scoring, with a tidy header. Making the score and result, 4-0.
All of this was over-shadowed however, when French star Kylian Mbappe had to come off in the second-half with a thigh strain.
The win lifts PSG up to third in Ligue One, although all eyes will be on their young superstars. Hoping both Mbappe is fit soon and Neymar Jr will stay.
