PSG enter negotiations with Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho is likely to leave Barcelona this summer following a poor 2018/19 campaign and Paris Saint-Germain have already moved swiftly.

PSG are now looking to snap up Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona. The club has well and truly launched its offensive on the summer transfer window. According to Foot Mercato, the Parisians have already met with Coutinho’s entourage.

Initially PSG’s priority was to let go of unwanted players in a bid to satisfy the demands of UEFA Financial Fair Play. However, things have changed following the departure or Antero Henrique and return of Leonardo. The tone of club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has also changed.

Early this morning the PSG supremo had his say on players whose hearts are not at the club. It is clear that the club wants to hold on to Kylian Mbappe but doesn’t feel the same way for Neymar.

The Brazilian’s attitude is going to be his unbecoming and the club will be looking to sell him to the highest bidder. Barcelona are reportedly willing to welcome him back but PSG have another thing in mind.

Andres Iniesta pens an open letter ahead of Barcelona clash

Andres Iniesta has acknowledged it will be a "strange" feeling for him to line-up against Barcelona for the first time as a Vissel Kobe player.

The Ligue 1 giants want Philippe Coutinho at Parc des Princes. And it appears that the club and the player’s entourage have already started speaking.

Apparently, Manchester United were very interested in signing the former Liverpool player. However, the player doesn’t want to move to England. Currently involved with Brazil at the Copa America, Coutinho wouldn’t be against the idea of leaving Camp Nou.

He hasn’t had the best of seasons with the Catalonian giants and a new challenge might be helpful.

PSG could be in pole position since they have a great bargaining chip in the shape of Neymar. The Brazilian wants to leave France and his compatriot wants to leave Barcelona. It could be a win-situation for all parties.

Moreover, Barcelona might also agree to such a transaction since they want have to pay exactly the same amount they received when they first sold Neymar to the Ligue 1 outfit.
