Danny Rose was not included in Tottenham’s preseason tour and it appears that the England international is set to sign for the Ligue 1 champions.
Danny Rose is likely to leave Tottenham this summer. The England full-back hasn’t been in sparkling form off late.
After the departure of Kieran Trippier, another full-back may be sold to a club outside of England. PSG are reportedly closing in on the England international. The Ligue 1 giants are keen on signing a left-back this summer and see Danny Rose as an ideal candidate for the role.
After already welcoming the likes of Pablo Sarabia, Ander Herrera, Marcin Bulka, Abdou Diallo and Mitchel Bakker, Les Parisiens are keen on reinforcing the left side of defense.
At present, Juan Bernat is the club’s first choice left back. The Spaniard has been in great form since arriving from Bayern Munich last summer. Layvin Kurzawa is likely to leave. Raphael Guerreiro of Borussia Dortmund has also been linked with a move to Parc des Princes but BVB aren’t willing to let him leave.
And according to Sky Sports, PSG are in pole position to sign Danny Rose who was linked with them last summer as well. Following the acquisition of Tanguy Ndombele, Tottenham are keen on selling a few players in a bid to ensure financial viability.
At present, there are no reports claiming that negotiations have started but it could only be a matter of time before Danny Rose starts finalizing personal terms.
Spurs have already left for their preseason tour of Asia and Danny Rose has stayed behind to finalize a move. The London giants are asking for €22 million for the England international which is a pretty decent amount for a player who has a lot of experience playing in the Premier League and in Europe.
And with Danny Rose also open to a move away from North London, PSG might end up getting their man.
