Paris Saint-Germain have not dropped their interest in Cristiano Ronaldo and plan on acting on it the next year, according to reports.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s improved his already glittering resume in his first two seasons at Juventus, guiding them to Serie A success in both of them while also keeping up his goalscoring form.
The 35-year old has now entered his third season at the club and it could well be his last one at the Allianz Stadium, if rumors are to be believed.
A report published by Tuttosport mentions that Juve are ready to move on from their star player as they look to bring in younger blood in the team.
Relaxing the financial pressure on them is also one of the reasons for Juventus’ willingness to offload their superstar, who takes home a mouthwatering €31 million per year.
The report also adds that Paris Saint-Germain could move for Ronaldo in 2021. PSG even wanted to sign him in the previous transfer window but their approach was rejected by Juve.
It was also stated by the Italian news outlet that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward would be open to parting ways with the Serie A titleholders but only if they win the Champions League this season.
Should the transfer go through, it would be a sight to behold Ronaldo, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe in the same team.
