The Qatari businessman revealed his club’s new rules, saying he will not tolerate any behavior like this in or off the pitch.
There have been some reports that some Paris Saint-Germain players have been behaving badly during training sessions, and even during some matches.
Even Julian Draxler said so a few days ago.
And to combat this, PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi says his team will not tolerate any “celebrity behavior.”
“Players will have to assume their responsibilities even more than before,” he was quoted by Goal.
“It must be completely different. They will have to do more, work more.”
“They are not here to please themselves. If they do not agree, the doors are open. Ciao!” he commented.
“I realized that changes were essential, otherwise we were going nowhere.”
“In two minutes the case was settled between us, he will have all the sports powers,” he said.
Al-Khelaifi also spoke about Leonardo Araujo who would be replacing Antero Henrique as sporting director and will make sure these new rules are implemented.
“Leo, this is my guy. He is incredible, I have total confidence in him.”
“His natural authority will do good for everyone, especially the players,” he concluded.
