Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be interested in signing Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo in the summer transfer window

The Argentine has been with United since 2014 from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, but has been restricted to just 474 minutes of football this season due to a knee injury which caused Rojo to be absent from the squad for seven months.

Rojo currently has a contract at Old Trafford till 2019 and has locked in negotiations with United over a contract extension. However, since learning of delays between both parties, The Sun reports that PSG are ready to jump at the chance of signing the 27 year-old for a reported £30m in the summer transfer window.

Since his return from injury, Rojo has helped United keep three consecutive clean sheets as he bids to regain a place in the Argentina national team ahead of the summer’s World Cup tournament in Russia. The Argentine is highly regarded at the club and it remains to be seen if Mourinho will be willing to part ways with Rojo.
