It is in Christian Pulisic’s ambitions for the current season to win the FA Cup and secure Champions League qualification.
A sublime finish at the end of a galloping sprint by Christian Pulisic helped Chelsea take the lead against Manchester City on Thursday night, a match they went on to win 2-1.
Pulisic, who arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer, has experienced both ecstasy and misery in his debut Premier League season. While injuries have limited his appearances, he has impressed most of the time he has taken to the pitch.
Now having a five-point advantage over next best Manchester United, the victory against Man City made Chelsea’s case stronger for a top-four finish, while FA Cup success is also on the cards.
And the American forward wants his first season with the Blues to end with a tangible achievement.
“The break was tough on a lot of people but I’m just really happy that we can come back and play football again,” Pulisic told the official club website.
“It’s a bit different without the fans but we’re really excited to be back out there. There are a lot of games to play.
