Christian Pulisic has played down comparison with Eden Hazard suggesting he has his own style and intends to keep it that way.
Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has managed to find his rhythm after having a slow start to his debut season in the Premier League.
Pulisic hit the ground running after arriving from Borussia Dortmund, but injuries hampered his growth and prevented him from making himself a regular in the team.
An unsolicited three-month break then helped the American put his fitness woes in the past and he appears to have unlocked his full potential since the return of football.
The 21-year old’s playing style is often compared to Eden Hazard, a player who used to mesmerize the fans with his extraordinary pace, dribbling skills, ball control.
Pulisic is flattered to be likened to the now Real Madrid number 7 but insists he is not trying to replicate him.
“He’s an unbelievable player,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s pretty obvious what he accomplished at this club and I’m not trying to compare myself to that.
“I’m really happy I can do that as of recent and my style is always going to continue to be that very attacking-minded and creative kind of player. I’m happy I can help the team any way I can.
“I want to continue to make a big impact every week and every game.”
