Mino Raiola appears intent on stirring up the controversial debate of Paul Pogba and his future at Manchester United or possibly elsewhere.
Today he has gone a step further by admitting he has spoken to the Bianconeri and other interested parties about the Frenchman.
Super agent Raiola has never been one to shy away from controversy, but even he seems to be pushing it this time.
Speaking to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Raiola confirmed that the future of Paul Pogba was undecided. He cast doubt on Manchester United’s ability to satisfy his client’s ambitions to be successful both domestically and in Europe.
Then he went a step further to confirm he had held a discussion with Juventus director Pavel Nedved about Pogba. Worse still adding there were also discussions with other interested parties.
“A great player doesn’t go to Manchester United only to not challenge for the Champions League or the Premier League title.”
“It would be wrong for me not to admit Paul wants to stay at the highest level.”
“I talk to Pavel Nedved and Juventus about many things, including about Pogba.”
“You need to get information, see what’s happening, put down a few hypotheses, dream a little.”
“Along with Juventus, there are other clubs in for Paul.”
“But right now he is with Manchester United.”
“Pogba will first and foremost try to give his best and then we’ll see at the end of the season if he ought to remain or not.”
“There’s nothing impossible in the transfer market.”
This kind of talk is going to nothing to help his already fractured relationship with Manchester United.
Surely the end is nigh for Pogba and maybe any player who is represented by the apprently cunning Raiola.
