Ivan Rakitic has gone public with life at Barcelona, revealing how sad he is and how he despairs at not being able to do what he loves.

Rakitic has fallen out of favor at the Camp Nou, as Ernesto Valverde no longer sees the Croatian international as a key player in his team.

It has been rumored that Croatian international was seeking a move due to a lack of playing time. This outburst of emotion now only serves to alert any potential suitors.

According to an interview with #gomovistar, reported by fcbarcelonistas, Rakitic bares all.

He said:

“How can I have fun? By playing football.”

“And it’s like I often say, how does my little daughter feel when you take a toy away from her? Sad.”

“Well, I feel the same. [Barca] have taken my ball away from me and I’m sad about it.”

Raktic is no antagonist when it comes to the team, he is all for the cause, but he is ready to play, even if that is not in Catalonia.

He added:

“I understand and respect the decisions of the coach, club or whoever, but I think I’ve given a lot in these five years.”

“What I want is to continue having fun, that’s the most important thing for me. I can only have fun by playing.”

“I’m 31 years old, not 38, and I feel like I’m in my prime.”

There will be a host of suitors, with the front runners rumored to be Juventus and Inter Milan.
