Ramires, the former Chelsea and current Jiangsu Suning player, spoke about his planned come-back to Europe as he is really close to joining Inter Milan two years after leaving the continent.

He has been a crucial part of Chelsea’s remarkable Champions League victory as he scored the most important goal of the semifinal leg against Barcelona away from home – but two years ago, he decided to leave Europe and try something new in China. But now, he seems to be prepared to make his comeback to Europe as Inter Milan have been heavily interested in getting him.

The Brazilian spoke about his possible move to Inter as he said, according to ESPN: “It’s not all down to me, but I’d be very happy to return to Europe. I hope an agreement can be reached with Inter — it would be a great moment for me and my family. I’ll be ready if it does happen. As far as the wages are concerned, there are different parties involved and the negotiations need to satisfy both clubs. I just hope an agreement can be reached and I can join Inter.”

He also added that he hasn’t spoken yet with Spaletti: “I didn’t speak with [Inter coach Luciano] Spalletti when Inter came to China and I’ve never met him, but he’s a great coach and I knew about him before he joined Inter. I’m pleased that somebody who knows so much about football like him has his eye on me. I just need to keep on doing well here and hope that I can go back to Europe.”

In the end, Ramires’ coach Capello claimed that he wants to keep him: “Of course Ramires is a great player and he’s important for us. We’d be happy if he would stay, but if he were to go to Inter, he would strengthen them. It’s not down to Inter or down to us, it’s down to financial fair play and many other parameters.”
