RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick has admitted his side has virtually no chance of landing the highly-rated Premier League youngster in the January transfer window
Having experienced many problems in the final third since the start of the new Bundesliga campaign, the Bulls are looking to bolster the attack in the upcoming transfer session.
One of the players Rangnick finds interesting is Everton’s Ademola Lookman, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Red Bull Arena.
The pacey 21-year-old forward has notched five goals and provided eight assists in 11 top-flight outings for the German outfit, but has been struggling for playing time since returning to Goodison Park.
Frequently uses as a substitute by Marco Silva, Lookman has recorded barely one Premier League start this season. However, Rangnick believes the Toffees won’t sanction winger’s transfer in January.
“It’s very unlikely that Everton will give him away,” he told Leipziger Volkszeitung, which has later been broadcasted by SportWitness.
