Ralf Rangnick’s agent insists his client has no agreement in place to join AC Milan now or on a future date.
Zvonimir Boban was recently sacked as a director of AC Milan. The former club legend accused the club of hiring Rangnick as both coach and director of football, behind everyone’s back.
The allegation was aimed at agitating the Rossoneri’s CEO Ivan Gazidis who the retired Croatian international all but called a dictator.
Now the Red Bull Sports director’s agent Marc Kosicke has moved to clarify Rangnick’s position.
Speaking to German outlet Bild Kosicke insists as of right now there is no deal with Milan.
“Gazidis and Rangnick have known each other for years and often speak together.”
“But there are no plans to work together in place. There are other priorities at the moment.”
That will be a relief for current boss Stefano Pioli and current director of football Paolo Maldini.
But the rumors of a possible future move will not go away that easily.
