Real Madrid legend Raul has given the club his endorsement towards any possible summer bid for Tottenham star Harry Kane
It has been another outstanding season from Kane, who has now scored an incredible 35 goals in just 36 appearances for Spurs across all competitions this season. The 24 year-old has caught the attention of many of Europe elite clubs with his performances over the past few seasons and it is believed that Real are prepared to make a bid for Kane in the summer.
Raul, who was previously the club’s record goalscorer before Cristiano Ronaldo at 323 goals, has admitted that Kane has impressed him and believes that the England international is one of the best forwards in the world now.
“Harry Kane is a typical striker,” said Raul, according to Sky Sports.
“He scores in every single game. I think he has great qualities. I like him a lot.
“I don’t know if he wants to change or if he has the opportunity to change, but I think he is doing well. He is one of the best strikers in the world.”
When asked if he could see Kane in the famous white shirt at the Bernabeu one day, Raul refused to rule out the prospect.
“Why not? Of course, I imagine a lot of teams would like to bring him to their team.” answered Raul.
