Everton have reportedly received an improved £22m bid for Ademola Lookman from RB Leipzig
The 20-year-old had spent last season on loan at the Bundesliga side and managed to score five goals in 11 appearances.
Now Leipzig wants the young forward permanently.
Two bids have already been rejected by Everton for Lookman.
But the Daily Mirror reports that a club record third offer of £22m has now been lodged from Leipzig.
With the likes of Richarlison and Bernard having arrived at Goodison Park this summer, competition up front will likely be more difficult than ever for Lookman.
Therefore, a permanent to Leipzig may well prove to be very appealing for him.
But Everton are not going to make things easy and are reportedly holding out for a £30m for the England Under-21 international.
Although, despite having not played in either of Everton’s first two games of the new season, Marco Silva has insisted that Lookman remains a part of his plans.
