Barcelona have turned to Real Betis forward Loren Moren in an attempt so secure reinforcements after Dembele’s injury.
Loren Moren is the latest Barcelona target after they offered Real Betis €15m for his services, as per Marca.
Ousmane Dembele’s injury means Barca were granted permission to get a replacement from within Spanish football and the club’s latest move is a potential deal for Loren.
Barcelona had a long list of forwards which included Angel, Lucas Perez and Willian Jose who admitted he didn’t want to sit on the bench.
The Betis man has been decent so far this season, with eight goals and two assists in 22 appearances .
However, the Loren deal is a bit complicated for Barcelona because Betis would not be able to get a replacement of their own.
As per the report, Marca claim Real Betis would not entertain any fee for Loren and the Catalan side would have to pay his €40m buyout clause.
The report goes on to claim that Betis mentioned they have only two forwards (Loren inclusive) and any potential deal must be worth considering from their end.
Barcelona submitted the offer for the 26-year-old yesterday and are hopeful a move can materialize soon enough.
