Real Madrid was top of the list for the most valuable football club on the planet, followed closely by Manchester United.
A five-year continuous study of football club values has revealed that Real Madrid is number one followed closely by Manchester United.
Los Blancos were valued at almost three and a half billion Euros, with Red Devils only 36 million Euros behind them.
Third-place Barcelona was some 149 million Euros behind United.
While the next La Liga side was Atletico Madrid. With Los Rojiblancos trailing in 13th place by some two billion.
The top ten is dominated by the Premier League, with only Real, Barca, Bayern and PSG from outside the English top flight.
The highest-ranked Serie A side was Juventus who came in at 11th 1.6 billion Euros off the top spot.
United’s ranking perhaps demonstrates the value the unpopular Glazers and Ed Woodward’s work provides the club. Given that they are arguably one of the least successful clubs on the field in the top ten over the last five years.
