Donny van de Beek says he wants to stay at Ajax for the rest of the season and possibly longer.
Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has ruled out the possibility of switching camps after insisting that he has no intentions of leaving the Dutch capital any time soon.
Van de Beek has been instrumental for Ajax this season as they near securing their 35th Eredivisie title. So far, he has bagged six goals while setting up four more for his teammates.
As a result, the 22-year old has attracted much attention. Real Madrid stand as the strongest contender for his signature while Man United are also close behind.
But Donny van de Beek feels home at Ajax and has ruled out a move at least this January.
“It is not that I can or want to do something at the moment,” Van de Beek told FOX Sports.
“I have said it before and I will say it again: I will remain at Ajax this season, and maybe next season as well.
“These reports about Real Madrid or Man Utd are a good sign. But it is not important now. I’ve said I will stay at Ajax and I will do so 100 percent.”
