At the age of 35, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to set more records on the pitch. We look at a couple more he can break in the 20/21 season.

Age is only just a number and Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show that.

A dedicated player and hard-worker on and off the pitch, it’s no surprise he continues to set more and more records.

After yet another impressive individual season with Juventus, Ronaldo will be looking to build on his numbers and achievements even further.

We take a look at some records CR7 can make his own in the upcoming 2020/21 season.

100-goal club for Juventus

With 65 goals in 89 appearances for Juventus so far, Ronaldo is well on course to hit the 100-goal mark this term. Last season, he had an impressive 37 goals in all competitions and he looks fired up to do even better.

CR7 needs only 35 more goals to hit 100 goals in Juve colors. That feat will also see him become the first player to score a century of goals in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.

Capocannoniere award to his personal collection

For all of his goals in a Juventus jersey, Ronaldo is yet to get his hands on the top scorer award since his arrival in 2018.

In his first season at the club, he finished with 21 Serie A goals and was bettered by Fabio Quagliarella who won the award with 26 goals.

Last season, Ronaldo came close once again to winning it but couldn’t see off a resolute Ciro Immobile who finished the season with a record-equaling 36 goals in a single Serie A campaign.

CR7 can finally break that hurdle this season and add it to his list of personal awards. Once again, he will become the first player to do so in the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A should he do so.

8 goals shy of an all-time record

Iran’s Ali Daei’s international record of 109 goals is under serious threat of being dethroned. Of course, Ronaldo is close by and has everything set up to make this record his own.

Just recently, he crossed the century mark in A Seleção colours and Daei’s record would be the next thing on his mind.

Next month, Portugal will play three matches in the space of seven days and CR7 will fancy his chances of bagging as many goals as possible.
