Reinier, also known as Vinicius 2 is coming to Europe

Flamengo boss Jorge Jesus has confirmed that 17 years old Reinier, is to be sold to one of Europe’s elite.

Off the back of a Copa Libertadores win and a second place in the Club World Cup Flamengo is preparing to lose one of their brightest stars.

According to current manager Jorge Jesus there is one player in line for a move to some of Europes elite.

In an interview reported by AS, Jesus confirms a 17-year-old star of the team is on his way.

He said:

“I promoted three players (in Flamengo), one with 17, another with 18 and another with 19.”

“They have been headlines in some matches with Flamengo.”

“The one who is 17 is going to be sold now to one of the biggest in Europe for many million euros.”

He went on to liken the youngster to another Brazilian teenager who left for Europe Elite.

He added:

“If I was asked if I had a Vinicius 2? I would say it was him.”

Reinier has been linked with a host of top clubs in recent months.

However, Real Madrid are the favorites for his signature, Vinicius 1 and Vinicius 2 cold be on the same team soon.
