Renato Sanches is happy at Bayern Munich but won’t rule out leaving the club if he continues to struggle for more game time

The Portuguese midfielder has only started six of his 16 appearances for Bayern this season in all competitions since returning from his loan spell at Swansea City in the Premier League.

Based on this, Sanches admits that he may be forced to consider his future at the Allianz Arena should things fail to improve.

“I’m happy, but of course I want to play more,” Renato Sanches told Sport1.

Report: Bayern Munich join the race for Ivan Rakitic

Bayern Munich have reportedly become the latest club to show an interest in signing Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic.

“I feel well. I’m ready to play and to be a good player.”

“I just want the best for myself, and if it’s best to stay, then I’ll stay. If it’s best for me to leave, then I’ll go. When you play, you feel happy, and I want to play and feel well.”

Sanches joined Bayern in 2016 from Portuguese giants Benfica in a €35m deal, which made him the club’s fourth biggest record signing after Javi Martinez, Mario Gotze and Arturo Vidal.
