According to reports, Everton winger Ademola Lookman will choose to play for Nigeria instead of England.

Lookman was born in Wandsworth, England, to Nigerian parents, but has represented England at under-19, under-20 and under-21 youth levels.

The youngster also helped England to win the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2017 as he scored three goals at the tournament.

Lookman is eligible to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and is set to make the decision to play for the African giant, according to a report in Pulse Sports.

He reportedly refused to play for Nigeria earlier in 2018 after a meeting with the president of the Nigeria Football Federation. It seems he has changed his mind since then according to a source close to the player’s representatives.

“An announcement will be made soon, I’m close to his management and they have confirmed that he has made the decision,” the source said.
