Neymar’s representatives have reportedly met with Barcelona officials to plot a reunion for next summer
The Brazilian forward has been linked with a sensational return to Camp Nou, despite having only left in 2017 for a world record transfer fee of €220m to Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Neymar is understood to be unsettled with life at the French capital with reports in Spain suggesting that he’s become “desperate” to rejoin Barcelona.
Now Mundo Deportivo reports that Neymar continues to plot his way back to Catalonia by offering himself to Barcelona.
Latest news on Catalunya Ràdio claims that Barcelona’s South American scout André Cury met with Neymar’s entourage over Christmas in Brazil to discuss his possible return.
Aside from that, the report adds that Cury was also seen with the renown football agent Pini Zahavi – who was the man who brokered Neymar’s record transfer to PSG in the first place.
Álvaro Costa, a close friend of Neymar’s, was also present at the meeting as they begun to discuss a strategy for the 26-year-old’s return to Barcelona.
Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 appearances for Barcelona between 2013 and 2017, where he won two La Liga titles along with three Copa del Reys and the Champions League in 2015.
