Besiktas are reportedly looking to end Loris Karius’ loan deal with them after an underwhelming start

The German goalkeeper ended a two-year stay at Anfield this summer for a loan move to Besiktas after Liverpool signed Alisson Becker from AS Roma.

The decision to sign the Brazil international came after Karius’ mistakes in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in May’s Champions League final.

But now Fotomac claim that Karius’ stay in Turkey could come to an end as early as January due to Besiktas losing patience with him.

The Turkish giants had signed Karius on a two-year loan deal, which could become a permanent one in 2020.

However, after a disastrous Super Lig debut, Karius has only managed to keep one clean sheet in 11 appearances across all competitions with 15 goals conceded in the process.

Now Besiktas want to do a trade that involves Karius returning to Anfield with Liverpool striker Divock Origi joining them on the same terms.

Besiktas are currently fourth in the Turkish Super Lig with 18 points from 10 games.
