Guangzhou Evergrande have reportedly set their sights on a move for troubled Barcelona winger Malcom

The 21-year-old arrived at Camp Nou in the summer from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux after turning down a transfer to AS Roma at the last minute.

But life at Barcelona hasn’t gone as well as Malcom had hoped with the Brazilian struggling for regular game time.

Currently, Malcom has made just the one start in seven appearances for Barcelona and looks set to lose out on further opportunities being after ruled out for two weeks with a sprained ankle.

Now Directv Sports claim that Guangzhou are eyeing an ambitious move for the unsettled Malcom.

The Chinese side re-signed Paulinho from Barcelona in the summer and now hope to convince his compatriot of making the same move.

Due to his injury, Malcom will be absent from Barcelona’s derby against Espanyol this weekend.
