Manchester City defender Danilo has agreed on a deal to join Inter Milan this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian has fallen in Pep Guardiola’s pecking order, meaning he has struggled to nail a place in the club’s starting XI.
The former Los Blancos defender has just managed 10 Premier League appearances under Pep Guardiola this season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Inter Milan are not keen on making Cedric Soares’ loan move from Southampton permanent at the end of the season, preferring a move for Danilo.
The 26-year-old is understood to have reached an agreement for a contract of four or five years worth €3.5 million per season.
Man City are reportedly not going to block the move, but want to wait until the end of the season before completing the deal.
Danilo completed a switch to the Citizens from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017 on a five-year deal but has often been sidelined by injuries in England, restricting him to 33 Premier League appearances over the last two seasons.
