Chelsea will reportedly allow Cesc Fabregas to join AS Monaco this month if they find a replacement after he agreed to join the French side on a three-year deal

The 31-year-old midfielder will be out of contract at the end of the season and recently arrived at Monaco to finalise a move.

Les Monegasques boss Thierry Henry confirmed on Monday that he remains in regular contact with his old Arsenal team-mate and insisted the Spaniard is a “player who interests all clubs”.

Now Sky Sports reports that Fabregas has agreed to join Monaco this summer on a three-year deal.

Edinson Cavani has no plans on leaving PSG

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani doesn't plan on leaving anytime soon after ending his three-month goal drought.

But the reports adds that Blues director Marina Granovskaia is preventing any transfer this month until Chelsea can find a suitable replacement.

Manager Maurizio Sarri had previously announced that they would be in real trouble if Fabregas left with no player coming in to fill the void.

The Italian has allegedly set his sights on Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella and Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.
