Report: Harry Kane might get fit to face the Netherlands

According to a report from Sky Sports, the England National Team is thinking about Harry Kane to play against the Netherlands in June.

The injury that Harry Kane suffered against Manchester City during the Champions League quarterfinals jeopardized his England role.

The Three Lions are about to face the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League semifinals on June 6 and Kane’s inclusion was a major doubt until today.

According to an extensive report from Sky Sports, manager Gareth Southgate has been communicating with Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham Hotspur’s medical staff.

The boss has been monitoring Harry Kane’s recovery and there is a major opportunity for him to even play the upcoming Champions League final against Liverpool.

According to the information, the player is already making the recovery process at the gym and he might even play a full half of the match in Madrid.

This came as great news for both Tottenham Hotspur and the England National Team, as Harry Kane is considered their most important player.

Southgate will continue to watch over the situation with the striker and he will give him more time to make a full recovery.

We are still nearly three weeks away from that European final between the two Premier League squads.

Southgate will publish a preliminary call-up list.

According to the information from Sky Sports, Gareth Southgate isn’t even thinking about a possible replacement for Kane yet.

In fact, he is already making his plans to include him on the call-up list that he will publish a few weeks before the match against Holland takes place.

We can’t forget that the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham will happen on June the 1st.

The UEFA Nations League between England and the Netherlands is taking place five days after the continental final in Madrid.

The international match between the two nations will take place in Portugal, which was agreed when the Nations League format was initially created.

Given that both European finals include English squads, the players who are part of these matches at the end of May and the beginning of June won’t join until June the 3rd.

Though it won’t be until June 4 when all the 23 players from the final list train together ahead of the match in Portugal.

Gareth Southgate expects Harry Kane to be fully fit for that day, he may already have a few minutes of playing time in the Champions League final by that date.
