AS Monaco boss Thierry Henry is reportedly hoping to persuade former Arsenal team-mate Cesc Fabregas to join him in France

Under new coach Maurizio Sarri, Fabregas has made four appearances in the Premier League this season with just the one start to his name.

In fact, most of the Spanish midfielder’s action has come in the Europa League and Carabao Cup due to Sarri’s preference for fielding Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in the Chelsea midfield.

Now the Evening Standard claims that Fabregas’ frustrations over his lack playing time this term has alerted Henry.

Thomas Tuchel confirms Neymar is close to PSG comeback

Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed reports stating that Neymar could make a return for Sunday's showdown against AS Monaco

The former Barcelona player is expecting offers to come in for him next month, but Henry hopes his relationship with Fabregas will sway things in his favour.

The Frenchman has been allegedly keeping close tabs on his old team-mate’s situation at Stamford Bridge since he was named Monaco boss in October.

AC Milan are another club who have been linked with a move for Fabregas.
