Manchester United have been put on red alert, as Dortmund CEO says it is only a matter of time before Sancho leaves.

According to ESPN, Hans-Joachim Watzke has said: “Jadon Sancho will eventually leave the club.”

In 2017, Sancho left Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund. He has been a revelation since he arrived in the Bundesliga.

Last season, he was a key player in the Dortmund team that finished runners up to Bayern Munich. He was however named in the  Bundesliga team of the year.

He has played 57 times for the Germans and scored 15 goals. He has also recorded an amazing 24 assist to.

This kind of form has attracted a lot of attention from bigger teams. Especially Manchester United.

Hans-Joachim Watzke went on to say:

“He won’t stay at the Westfalenstadion forever.”

“There aren’t many 19-year-olds with such a potential.”

“He is also not a player from the region or one who would have any connection to it.”

2018 saw him win his first of six caps so far for the English national team.

It looks like next summer we could all be talking about the Jadon Sancho transfer saga.

Manchester United appear to be the main contenders.

While Manchester City will no doubt be kicking themselves, that they didn’t insert a buy-back option in his sale agreement.
