Juventus will reportedly rival Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe’s services after allegedly making a promise to their supporters.

The 20-year-old is arguably Europe’s most exciting young prospect right now on the back of regularly impressing for both Paris Saint-Germain and France.

Despite his young age, Mbappe has already done what most football players can only dream of for their careers after winning a domestic treble in his debut campaign at PSG and then helping France claim the 2018 World Cup at Russia.

Mbappe also beat Cristiano Ronaldo as the most expensive signing of last summer after PSG took up their €180m buy option on him to land him on a permanent deal from AS Monaco.

The Ligue 1 champions had to wait another 12 months before they could sign Mbappe in order to comply with UEFA’s FFP rules due to having already completed a world-record transfer of €222m to bring Neymar over from Barcelona in 2017.

Since then, Mbappe has ranked in an impressive 50 goals and 30 assists in 77 appearances across all competitions for PSG.

But the France international’s future at Paris has been regularly put into question due to UEFA’s ongoing investigation into the club’s mega spending over the last few years.

While PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has maintained in the past that neither Mbappe or Neymar will be sold to comply with the FFP rules, it’s done little to silence the uncertainty of both their futures.

Real Madrid have been regularly touted as a potential destination for Mbappe with president Florentino Perez understood to be a keen admirer of the young forward.

But now Tuttosport reports that Los Blancos are set to receive competition from Juventus for the highly-rated Mbappe.

The Italian news outlet claims that Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici promised the club supporters that he will do everything he can to sign Mbappe.

The Serie A giants are now considered to be heavyweights in the transfer market upon completing a stunning €112m deal to bring Ronaldo over to Turin last summer from Real Madrid.

Although Mbappe has indicated that he will stay at PSG for next season, but gave no idea of his plans afterwards.
