Report: L’Equipe confirms Hazard’s arrival to Real Madrid

According to a report from L’Equipe, Eden Hazard is set to be presented by Real Madrid after the Europa League final between Chelsea and Arsenal.

It was just last Sunday when Eden Hazard revealed he told Chelsea what he would do with his future two weeks ago, he signed with Real Madrid.

French journal L’Equipe has published a cover in which they already dress Eden Hazard with the Real Madrid kit, alleging the player will be presented as Los Blancos’ new player very soon.

They even reveal a tentative date in which the Spanish giants will announce the Belgian player as their most recent transfer.

The publication reveals that both Chelsea and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for a reported €112 million.

Eden Hazard finally fulfills his dream of playing under his idol Zinedine Zidane, he also finally arrives at Real Madrid as one of the club’s big stars.

L’Equipe also reports that the announcement won’t be made until Chelsea plays the Europa League final against Arsenal.

Real Madrid agreed to these terms because they don’t want the player to get distracted by the noise from the media that could tamper with his performance in the Europa League final.

Hazard dropped the bomb last Sunday.

It had to be on the last day of the Premier League season when Eden Hazard spoke about his future more openly.

The Belgian international spoke to Standard Sport about his next destination and revealed some interesting details.

Although he didn’t mention Real Madrid by name, it is clear that Eden Hazard has already told Chelsea about his decision.

The player also revealed that reaching the Champions League this season with the Blues didn’t affect his final decision.

Looks like Eden Hazard’s time at Chelsea has reached a conclusion.

“Yes I have made my decision (on his future) but it is not just about me,” said Hazard via Standard Sport.

“Would I have liked it to be cleared up earlier in the season? Yes, I wanted that but that’s not happened. I’m still waiting like you are waiting and the fans are waiting.”

“I told the club what I wanted to do a couple of weeks ago. Getting in the Champions League didn’t make me change my mind about my future.”

After a complicated victory in the Turkish hell, we tell you the five things we learned from Real Madrid's win vs Galatasaray.  It was a...

“I have made my decision, that’s it. I’m still waiting.”

“When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That’s it. When I am on the pitch I just try to do the best.”

I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club’s situation. I just try to win games.”

Hazard wants to leave Chelsea with a medal around his neck.

Now that everything seems completely set on Eden Hazard becoming a Real Madrid player next season, he has one pending assignment left at Chelsea.

The Belgian international is eager to play the upcoming Europa League final against Arsenal FC and leave as a continental champion.

Eden Hazard has only won one of these trophies during his time at Arsenal, it happened during his very first season at the club.

This winger has completely revolutionized the Premier League during his time here but he feels it’s time to seek fortune elsewhere.

Much like it happened with other major foreign stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale, Real Madrid has finally seduced Eden Hazard.

Los Blancos keep buying some of the most interesting players on the transfer market and they will keep doing so throughout the summer.

We can expect at least another four new players to sign new contracts with Real Madrid, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic are only the beginning of a buying spree.

The difference between previous years and now is very clear, Real Madrid won’t pay more than they should for a single player.
