His tournament ended in disappointment. He ended up injured and ending the tournament in the physio’s room. A place at Old Trafford that he has become used to visiting.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already said, he hopes for Sanchez to rediscover his goal-scoring touch. But he has also stated that he is several weeks behind everyone else in terms of fitness.

While there has been no public admission from United. The general consensus is, that it may be better if Anchez moves on.

The problem is, there are no takers right now.

The only possibility maybe a loan deal. Roma has expressed an interest in these kinds of terms.

Forlan reveals Cristiano Ronaldo is an “egotist”

The Manchester United icon has compared Cristiano Ronaldo with David Beckham after both played for the Red Devils a few years ago.

Then comes the issue of his wages. The Old Trafford club may still end up footing a large portion of his mega pay packet.

Whatever happens, as things stand right now, Sanchez is well down the pecking order at United. Young Greenwood is even ahead of him.

The youngster managed to make it on the field during Sunday’s annihilation of Chelsea.

Solskjaer encourages intense practice sessions. However, Greenwood apparently caught Sanchez with a late challenge.

The foul enraged the Chilean.
