Report: PSG set the price at 250 million Euros for Neymar

All this flirting has caused a stir for Neymar, PSG wants to capitalise and have set the price at an elevated 250 million Euros.

According to Marca, PSG wants a premium price for their premium asset.

They paid 222 million 2 years ago. They were demanding at least that when the story first broke and they conceded they would let Neymar go if their price was met.

Neymar publicly flirted with a return to the club where he achieved his greatest footballing memories.

It just so happened when he went public with those memories, the number one spot was beating PSG with Barca.

As you can imagine that did not sit well with the man who paid all that money to bring him to Paris.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi was not too impressed with the Brazilians outburst or his behaviour.

Only days later Neymar is pictured in deep conversation and embracing with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

Wan-Bissaka: Man United have a perfect squad balance

Aaron Wan-Bissaka reckons that Manchester United have struck a perfect mixture of youth and experience for this season.

Barcelona was originally the only interested party. PSG preferred not to deal with them, so offered Neymar to Manchester United. Who politely said “thanks but no thanks.”

Then Madrid officially entered the frame after they failed to sign Pogba from United.

There have been plenty of discussions, and plenty of offers. Players plus cash, more players less cash, fewer players more cash and all the permutations thereof.

If PSG is going to sell, and the chances are they will. They will pick what players they want, they will decide on the price.

Neymar is tied to a PSG for another three years contractually.

PSG certainly don’t need the money. Not that they would throw money away, but if they don’t get what they want, Neymar can stay and he will either conform or sit.

PSG are stating they are in control, the price is 250 million.
