Report: Real Madrid waiting for Neymar & Mbappe’s answer

Real Madrid are reportedly waiting for Paris Saint-Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to make a final decision on their futures.

PSG forwards Neymar and Mbappe have been frequently linked with a move to Real for over a year. This comes in light of their stellar displays in France and Europe across the past two seasons.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo decided to swap Real for Juventus last summer, the Spanish giants have notably struggled up front.

Compared to last season’s tally of 94 goals in 38 La Liga games, Los Blancos could only score 63. Hence, a new goalscorer is badly needed at the Spanish capital.

Real president Florentino Perez is expected to heavily back Zinedine Zidane in the upcoming transfer window for a major overhaul. It’s been reported the Frenchman is prepared to spend €540m on SIX players.

Out of all of these six superstars, however, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic is the only centre-forward on the list.

The Serbian striker bagged 27 goals in 48 appearances for Eintracht this season and had been strongly linked to Real. But recent reports suggest talks have broken down over a potential move.

Therefore, Neymar and Mbappe are back at the top of Los Blancos’ list for the summer.

AS claims that the 33-time La Liga champions are waiting for some kind of indication from either Neymar or Mbappe to make their move.

The Spanish newspaper put on the headline of their front page on Thursday: “Mbappe or Neymar, Florentino’s challenge.”

As Neymar makes the biggest decision of his career, it's time to talk about the Top 5 European clubs in which he would succeed...

“Wait for a guide of one or the other to enter to the top” (see below).

While Neymar has yet to publicly give any hint of an interest in joining Real recently, Mbappe stunned everybody by teasing a potential PSG exit on Sunday.

The 20-year-old made the comments after receiving the Ligue 1 Player of the Year prize.

“Of course, there were some disappointments [this season] but it’s part of football, we managed to win this league,” said Mbappe.

“I would like to thank the players, the coach, the club again. It’s important for me because I come to a first or a second turning point in my career.

“I discovered a lot of things here. I feel it’s time to have more responsibility. I hope it may be Paris Saint-Germain, it will be with great pleasure, or it may be elsewhere for a new project, but I would like to say thank you.”
