Cristiano Ronaldo will be staying at Juventus until at least the summer of 2021.

Juventus have been linked with some crucial new acquisitions, as early as January 2020. But the rumours are fake news according to club director Fabio Paratici.

This has caused financil instability will be an issue if the squad is not trimmed down. Thus reducing the wage bill and generating some cash flow.

This is all untrue according to Paratici.

There will be no acquisitions before the season is over and Ronaldo will be at the Bianconeri for a little while yet.

In an interview reported by Football Italia, he is more than happy with the clubs squad.

When fielding a question about Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic being available.

He said:

“Our squad is complete and we consider it to be one of the best in Europe.”

“We’re happy with our players. I’d rule out the arrival of a full-back.”

He was also asked about Ronaldo’s possible retirement and difficulties at Juventus.

He added:

“For us he’s very important, we’re happy about him like he is about us. I have no doubts that he will stay, both at the end of this season and next.”

Mancini – Ronaldo needs to show more respect

Roberto Mancini believes Cristiano Ronaldo needs to show more respect.

“Even Nedved, when he arrived in Turin, had problems adapting to the team for months and he always reminds me.”

He was also confident that Matthijs de Ligt and Adrien Rabiot would come good in the end.

He continued:

“I’m confident Matthijs will give us great satisfaction. Rabiot needs time, it’s not easy to get back playing after a long time out.”

He did, however, leave the future of apparent Manchester United target Mario Mandzikic up in the air.

He concluded”

‘With Mandzukic, we chose a quiet time for him [to leave] but a move to Qatar did not materialise so he stayed with us.”

“Now we’ll see what happens in January.”
