Manchester United did not want to hear this, Jadon Sancho has said he can see himself playing in Spains La Liga.

Sancho who is currently at Borussia Dortmund has apparently been Manchester United’s number one target for around a year.

The rumoured reason for waiting to make their move is that the lure of Champions League football is significant to the player and not something the Red Devils can offer right now.

There has been the talk of a 100 million Euro bid from United coming as early as January.

As we brought here at Ronaldo.com, the powers that be at Dortmund have publicly confessed that there has been interest. They know that holding on to Sancho long term is impossible.

Following an interview with Sky Sports, Sancho has revealed that United may not necessarily be in his plans, even if he is in theirs.

On all the media speculation Sancho said:

“I don’t really try to take notice of all the media.”

“I just try to stay focused on my game.”

“Obviously being in Germany has taken off the pressure of the media and I think that’s really helping me a lot and keeping me focused.”

He continued about a future move:

“I can’t tell the future but I wouldn’t mind.”

“La Liga I wouldn’t mind also, but we don’t know yet.”

“I am just happy that I’m playing and that’s the main thing.”

“I’m just helping my team and learning every day when I’m on the pitch.”

“It’s a great start. I am just happy to have two goals and three assists. Hopefully, I’ll just carry on.”

The opportunity to display his talent has seen Sancho earn a callup’s to the senior England squad. Something Sancho is certain would not have happened without the exposure he is getting in Germany.

He said:

“We’ve always had a lot of talent but getting game time is really important, getting game time and getting comfortable to the league and to the pressure.”

“It really helps you if you play week in, week out because you adapt to how you play. I feel that the coaches are believing in English players a lot more.”

“My move to Germany has given the option to managers, to see that there is talent there and that they can give opportunities.”

“There are a lot of good players coming up and hopefully we’ll win major things with England. I just hope everyone gets their opportunity.”
