Sevilla are preparing a move for Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes, according to Football Espana.
The Netherlands international has been prolific since moving to Russia to play for Spartak scoring 59 goals in 115 Russina Premier League appearancesand the Andalusians are believed to be interested in his services.
The Flying Dutchman netted two goals as Spartak defeated Los Rojiblancos 5-1 in the Champions League last season but following their elimination this season, Promes looks set to leave.
Sevilla are looking to reinforce their squad after the departures of key players like Steven N’Zonzi and Joaquin Correa. The former UEFA Europa League winners also missed out on French striker Kevin Gameiro who opted to sign for Valencia after leaving Atletico Madrid.
Promes, who operates mainly as a winger, has been capped 28 times by the Netherlands and scoring five goals.
Should the player make the move to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan he’ll be hoping to maintain or improve his goal scoring form as the club seek to qualify for European Football once more after missing out this season.
