Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reiterated his stance on Paul Pogba not leaving United.

In his most recent prematch press conference, according to Goal.com an almost agitated Solskjaer all but accused the press of manipulating the situation and the player’s words.

The manager is not concerned at all by the rumours and the speculation. Especially the ridiculous gossip being stirred up by story hungry journalists.

The rumours of a summer move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, resurfaced when Pogba used the words “question marks” and “future” in the same interview.

The interview took place after the 4-0 victory over Chelsea in the opening day of the season.

Ahead of Monday nights game against what can only be considered as last seasons bogey team for United.

When asked about the Paul Pogba situation, Solskjaer said

“You [the media] always put question marks around Paul.”

“I don’t think it’s odd saying enjoy playing.”

“I have fun with my team-mates.”

“I enjoy what I’m doing.”

“I love my job and enjoy the game.”

“Of course that sentence with the question mark about him, there are always question marks about Paul.”

“There’s not one press conference that I’ve not answered a question about Paul Pogba.:”

“80 percent of what he said was that he enjoyed that game and his time here.”

“I’ve got absolutely no concerns on Paul. For me, yeah, he’s going to stay.”

Pogba was one of many stand out performers in the opening game of the season. He had 2 assists in what could not have been a better start to United’s campaign.

All three of Solskjaer’s new signings had stand out performances. Maguire and Wan-Bisska had their own personal battle for the man of the match. Which Maguire pinched.

Then 21-year-old Daniel James comes on for a brief debut professional debt at Old Trafford. Only to score a sensational goal.

Solskjaer is focused on winning games, with Pogba at his side.

It seems highly unlikely that even the money men of United would consider selling a player of Pogba’s talent without a replacement. Even if Real Madrid matched their 180 million Euro valuation.
