Following the racial attack on social media aimed at Paul Pogba, his teammates have given their full support.
As we brought you earlier on Ronaldo.com, Paul Pogba has been on the receiving end of some terrible and vile racial abuse.
This was following his missed penalty at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Monday night game. According to Goal.com, support from his club was swiftly followed up by that of his teammates.
The attack was immediately condemned by his club and their equality foundation #allredallequal. Likewise so by Anti-racism organisation Kick it out.
The club statement read:
“Everyone at Manchester United is disgusted by the racial abuse aimed at Paul Pogba last night and we utterly condemn it.”
“The individuals who expressed these views do not represent the values of our great club”
“It is encouraging to see the vast majority of our fans condemn this on social media also.”
“Manchester United has zero-tolerance of any form of racism or discrimination.”
“We have a long-standing commitment to campaigning against it through our #AllRedAllEqual initiative.”
The club has reiterated that it will do everything in its power to take the sternest action possible against the guilty parties.
“We will work to identify the few involved in these incidents and take the strongest course of action available to us.”
“We also encourage social media companies to take action in these cases.”
Since the attacks have come to light. Pogba’a teammates have come in to support the Frenchman.
Marcus Rashford said:
“Manchester United is a family.”
“Paul Pogba is a huge part of that family. You attack him you attack us all…”
“Enough now, this needs to stop.”

New signing Harry Maguire, who Pogba himself has nicknamed the Beast, due to no-nonsense attitude on the pitch said:
“Disgusting. Social media need to do something about it…”
“Every account that is opened should be verified by a passport/driving license. Stop these pathetic trolls making numerous accounts to abuse people.”
