Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Leicester City’s left-back Ben Chilwell, who has just received his first England call-up on Sunday.
According to reports in the Telegraph, the North London club is keeping a close eye on Chilwell, and wants him as a possible replacement for Dany Rose.
Chilwell just received his first call-up and will be part of England’s squad for Tuesday match friendly against Switzerland.
He has featured in all four of Leicester City’s Premier League games this season and has been linked with several top clubs for a number of years.
Before he even made his Leicester debut against Tottenham in January 2016, both Arsenal and Liverpool had bid for Chilwell but were all rejected.
Tottenham are reportedly keeping tabs on the left-back, and will likely bid for the player next summer as his current Leicester contract now has three years left.
Danny Rose, also part of the England squad will start ahead of Chilwell in their friendly match against Switzerland but his future at Tottenham is still unclear.
