Wilfried Zaha will try and force through his move away from Selhurst Park.
After seeing numerous bids rejected by Crystal Palace. Wilfried Zaha is now trying to force the club to sell him. By handing in a transfer request.
According to multiple sources, including Sky Sports News, he feels that Palace is trying to price him out of any move.
Palace has rejected 55 million pound offers from both Arsenal and Everton.
Arsenal was deemed to be Zaha’s dream move after he claimed it was the club the followed as a boy.
Arsenal has since turned their attentions elsewhere and splashed 72 million on Nicolas Pepe.
The player feels he has missed the chance of going to the Emirates Stadium. Everton appears to be the last club showing interest.
The Goodison Park side has seen multiple offers rejected.
Including a deal brought to by Ronaldo.com, rumoured to be worth a staggering 100 million total.
65 million in cash and James McCarthy and Cenk Tosun. It was thought this would be enough to seal the deal.
Palace has now come back with a counteroffer of 80 million in cash being the price.
This has apparently pushed the player to breaking point. Thus submitting the transfer request.
The Eagles have made an attempt to sign new strikers. CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov appears to top that list.
But as yet they have been unable to reach an agreement.
Zaha is under contract for another four years. So Palace is in control. They will sell but at their price.
It remains to be seen how far Everton will go to get their man. Or if they will simply look elsewhere.
