Andy Robertson has claimed that Sadio Mane is among the best players in the world.

Sadio Mane has been decisive in front of the goal for Liverpool. In just 13 games, the Senegalese has scored eight goals and assisted another four in the Premier League. Mane also contributed to Liverpool’s win in the last match to ensure they hold tight of the top spot.

Reds defender Andy Robertson, as reported by Four Four Two, took this opportunity to give credit to his teammate. The fullback claimed that Mane is improving continuously ever since his arrival at Anfield.

“Sadio has been fantastic,” the Scott said.

“Even when I came he was amazing, but maybe did not have as much composure as he does now in front of goal. Now every time he is there you don’t think he will miss.

“The chance he had at the start of the second half, we were surprised he did not score, and that is the type of player he is. Then he has popped up with another crucial goal,” Robertson recalled.

“It has been a fantastic year for him and let’s hope he can keep going for a full season instead of a calendar year. He has taken his game to another level.

“For me, Sadio belongs in the top bracket in world football. People are finally giving him more credit and that is deserved,” Andy Robertson claimed.
