Rodrygo Goes, unlike Ansu Fati, is the right heir to Ronaldo and Messi’s crown, a journalist claims
Left foot, right foot, and a header – Rodrygo Goes scored, what fans call, a perfect hattrick in his last match. The Brazillian teenager set fire to the Santiago Bernabeu. He was involved in Real Madrid’s four goals out of six.
The Brazillian scored his first goal just before five minutes inside the match. Rodrygo curled in a beauty from the right side to test the Galatasaray goalkeeper’s stretching abilities. The keeper failed, but Rodrygo didn’t. The young forward banged in his second after receiving a cross from Marcelo. But he had to wait a while for his match ball goal. His third goal came after a brilliant one-two passing with Karim Benzema.
And in the process, the 18-year old became the second-youngest player ever to score a hattrick in the Champions League, after Raul.
All in all, Rodrygo has been performing beyond expectations for Los Blancos. The Brazillian has received appraisal from fans and critics alike. Recently, a Spanish journalist, Juanma Rodriguez, hit out at Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati. He also complemented Rodrygo and claimed he will be as good as Ronaldo and Messi someday.

“The comparisons for Rodrygo cannot, therefore, be with Fati, who is very, very, very far behind, but with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, whose table he’ll dine at very soon.”
Although Rodrygo has had a better performance in recent weeks, it is unfair to compare two players at such a young age. Both Fati and Rodrygo are at one of the best teams in the world. While the pressure on both of them is enormous, with the right guidance both can make their way as future stars.
