Europa League saw the clash of two potential favorites to win it all as AS Roma and Borussia Monchengladbach collided.
The hosts fielded a very strong side, with the offensive part containing all of Nicolo Zaniolo, Justin Kluivert, and Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko is the team’s leading scorer this season, playing in a great form in Serie A.
However, this time the excellent Italian youngster, Nicolo Zaniolo opened the scoring account for Roma with his goal in 32nd minute after Veretout assists.
The guests dominated the possession, holding the initiative for most of the match.
Despite that, Roma held on until the very end, when Lars Stindl converted the penalty for Monchengladbach.
It’s worth noting that both teams did create chances consistently, but the score was tied in the end, much to the delight of deserving Germans.
This result sees Roma keeping top of the table with just five points, one ahead of Basaksehir and Wolfsberger.
The Germans aren’t in such a good spot, collecting only two points after three fixtures of the group stage.
