Asides Ronaldo, a host of other Juventus players will depart the club if they fail to make the top four, claims ex-Bianconeri star Christian Vieri.
It remains to be seen if Cristiano Ronaldo would remain at Juventus next season. However, CR7 will definitely leave the club should Juventus miss out on Champions League football next term.
You would have to go back almost three decades ago to find a time that Juventus failed to make the top tier competition of club football. Such is the case they currently find themselves in, under the guidance of Andrea Pirlo.
Juventus take on Inter at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday in a game that should normally prove pivotal in the title race. None of that is happening, with Inter already crowned champions and Juve only pushing for a spot in the top four.
Ronaldo and company need nothing less than a win but failure to do so could mean the star Portuguese might have to part ways with the club, claims Vieri.
Asides Ronaldo, a host of others could follow him through the exit door out of the club, claims the ex-Juve star.
“For me, Inter will win in Turin and Juventus won’t play the Champions League next season,” Vieri said on Twitch during ‘Bobo TV,’ the program he hosts.
“Without Champions League football, Ronaldo will leave and many others will follow him, Juventus will face a severe financial crisis,” the former striker added.
“It will be a dramatic failure and many players will leave.”
Juventus will also play the Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta this coming Wednesday and will face Bologna in the last game of the season on Sunday, May 23.
