Time to talk about the four winners of the Ronaldo.com Awards of this Europa League season, we have a Top 4 list for you to enjoy.

The Europa League just finished last weekend and we can finally talk about the best players in the competition, we also have the final Ronaldo.com Awards winners.

Due to Chelsea’s final victory in the tournament, the Blues do have a majority of players for each position but we do have an unexpected surprise.

There are two players who took the overwhelming majority of the votes in their position, these spots are the midfielder and the forward.

We understand that some of you may not agree with these picks but the readers were the ones who voted for the final winners.

We still encourage you to talk about it in the comment section down below, please remain civil in the conversation.

Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga with 57% of the votes

The Basque goalkeeper didn’t really start the year in the best possible manner, he came in as Thibaut Courtois’ replacement.

The season was relatively fine until a few disagreements he had with manager Maurizio Sarri.

But the final stages of the Europa League competition brought out the best of Kepa, the player offered a mesmerizing performance in the semifinals against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kepa is hands down the best goalkeeper of the season according to the numbers he produced via WhoScored.

We can’t forget that tremendous penalty shootout he delivered in the semifinals, with that save that he made with his knee.

Defender: Gabriel Paulista with 40% of the votes

The Brazilian defender from Valencia is currently one of the best players that the Spanish club has on the roster.

We thought this award would definitely go to a Chelsea player but the fans loved the Brazilian’s performances much better.

In fact, Gabriel did finish the season on a high note after beating FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

Paulista delivered a gorgeous assist during that final, which perfectly describes the type of centre-back he is.

It’s a shame he didn’t make it to the Copa America squad for the summer, he would’ve made a massive difference on the team.

Midfielder: Eden Hazard with 88% of the votes

The Belgian winger has been the true standout performer of the year in this competition, he is also considered at the top in English football.

Eden Hazard is ready to make his jump from Chelsea FC to Real Madrid, but he couldn’t leave without giving the Blues a proper goodbye gift.

The man played one of the best matches of his career against Arsenal in the Europa League final. Hazard scored two goals and delivered big time for Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

There are several moments of the season that can get us an Eden Hazard buzz, he was the player to watch in this competition.

The Blues sure are going to miss him when he leaves this summer.

Forward: Olivier Giroud with 85% of the votes

Even though we know that Olivier Giroud isn’t actually one of those strikers who scores a lot of goals, this Europa League season was very different for the French international.

Giroud has evolved to become one of the best centre-forwards in the world. When he left Arsenal thinking he could get more opportunities at Chelsea, Olivier never imagined he would win the tournament playing against his former club.

In fact, Giroud even scored a goal in the final and he finished the season as the top-scorer with 11 goals scored.

This Frenchman might be one of the most overrated players in the world, he has already won some of the most important trophies any player can dream of.

Which of these players was the better performer of this Europa League season? Please share your opinion in the comment section down below.
