Kylian Mbappe started the 2018-19 campaign on the wings of a fantastic World Cup with France last summer. He scored in the 4-2 victory over Croatia in the Final, becoming only the second teenager, after Pele to score in a World Cup Final.
It was his fourth goal of the competition, while his excellent performance saw the French striker win the FIFA World Cup Best Young Player Award.
Mbappe continued with his great games in Ligue 1, winning his third successive title (second with PSG) in the league. He netted 30 goals before the start of the 36th Matchday, being the only payer beside Lionel Messi to do so in the Top 5 leagues this season.
The 20-year old also provided nine assists, participating in 39% of PSG’s goal in the 2018-19 campaign. Mbappe netted four times in the 5-0 victory over Lyon and bagged two more hat-tricks.
The first one came in the 9-0 trashing of Guingamp back in January, while the second was against his former club AS Monaco, clinching the title for the Parisians in the 33rd Matchday of the season.
